Affordable Housing

As part of the Findhorn Village Local Place Plan developed with the support of Collective Architecture in 2025, a priority was identified to build affordable and sustainable housing and work opportunities.

A number of potential sites for housing were identified and presented to local residents as part of the LLP consultation process for comment. A selection of these were then proposed to Moray Council in response to their 'Call for Sites' as part of the process of updating the Moray Local Development Plan (MLDP) 2020.

The Findhorn Village Conservation Company will continue to progress the actions committed to in the Local Place Place (outlined below) as related to the provision of affordable housing, as capacity allows.
